US 60
Closures & Restrictions
US 60 splits into three sections in the Valley.

The Superstition Freeway is an east-west freeway that carries traffic from I-10 to points east through Tempe, Mesa and Apache Junction.

Grand Avenue follows a diagonal course from the core of the urban area leading to communities in the Northwest Valley.

Pinal County has studies underway to evaluate future alignment alternatives for US 60, from the end of the current Superstition Freeway to Florence Junction. These studies are not funded by the Regional Transportation Plan for Maricopa County.

On The Move
Our Valley Freeway System is part of the 2004 voter-approved Regional Transportation Plan. We are working hard with our transit partners to implement the voters’ vision and are committed to quality, safety, open communication with our neighbors, and minimal inconvenience to the traveling public.
